Our Business

For more than 35 years, Acoustic Music has been a linch pin in the Salt Lake music community.  Over the years, Hardin Davis, owner, and other employees have worked together--giving the best to performers and players of all levels.  Loyal and satisfied customers leave the store with the best instrument for their needs--whether it be nylon or steel string guitar, mandolin, banjo.  And the service doesn't end when the instrument goes out the door!  We are here to help you with accessories, repairs, or whatever else you need.

MEET HARDIN 

Hardin Davis, owner of Acoustic Music, knows and plays many stringed instruments--guitar, banjo, hammered dulcimer, uke, autoharp and more.  His presence in the folk scene goes back to the late 60's when he first arrived in Salt Lake City.  He was a member of The Jordan River Uptown Band, a local swing band, and the folk band Loggerheads; taught guitar at the University of Utah; and was a board member of the Intermountain Acoustic Musician Society.
